Steve and Ainsley perform as a duo. Currently living on Queenslands Sunshine Coast, they travel extensively sharing their songs wherever they can. Between them they have eight albums, two just added over the last 14 months.

Steve, from Rotorua in New Zealand, began his musical journey in the seventies in the popular band Butler. His life then took a new direction and he joined Gospel band Judah. During these early years along with four friends he also formed 60’s spoof band The Velvettes. But over the next twenty odd years he toured extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA, Europe and the UK and during those years released four solo albums.

Meanwhile back at home, Ainsley, discovered songwriting and began joining him more and more on stage with her own songs. Their tours became a family affair as their children got older, the two youngest being included in their performances whenever they could.

Now after more than 20 years touring as a duo Steve and Ainsley still take to the road with a guitar each and a whistle or flute, mixing up the blues, folk and gospel sounds with their stories of life on the road and on the home front. With their latest two duo albums, and a desire to take their message of love, joy and hope to as many people as possible, they can still be found singing wherever they are invited as often as they can.
